In the context of the global challenges posed by climate change and the depletion of natural resources, the transition to a green and sustainable economy has become a crucial priority. The Republic of Moldova, as an integral part of the international community, plays a key role in the adoption and implementation of sustainable practices and in reducing carbon emissions. The Green Award is a unique event designed to catalyze these efforts, promoting and rewarding businesses and individuals dedicated to a greener and sustainable future.   As Moldova adopts and implements a legislative and regulatory framework conducive to sustainable development, it is crucial that the private sector and civil society are actively involved in amplifying these changes. The Green Award aims to highlight outstanding achievements in the sustainability field and create a space for discussion and future initiatives. Thus, the event becomes a platform for building a community of dedicated practitioners, positively impacting the environment and the national economy. Organized with the support of Future Technologies Activity (FTA), funded by USAID, Sweden and UKaid, the Green Award highlights the importance of concrete action to combat climate change and protect natural resources. We want to turn this event into an annual tradition, inspiring and mobilizing a broad spectrum of stakeholders from Moldova and the region.
