ABOUT
The success of the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Conference organized by AmCham Moldova in 2023 underscored the need for our further commitment to inspire and mobilize individuals, businesses, and state authorities to contribute to a sustainable and green future.
Additionally, the European Union's recent decision to open accession negotiations with Moldova convey the imperative for local enterprises, aiming to thrive in the European market, to align with EU sustainability standards.
Across diverse sectors, from energy and transport to agriculture and light industry, transformative efforts are essential to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, and also maintain global competitiveness.
To amplify awareness regarding the advantages of the green transition for Moldovan business, but also assess the associated challenges, AmCham Moldova, in partnership with the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, with the support of the Future Technologies Activity (FTA), funded by USAID, Sweden, and UKaid, will organize the Green Future Conference on March 14th.
The Green Future Conference aims at :
• providing a collaborative platform for participants to engage in meaningful discussions, share insights, and propose innovative solutions towards a sustainable and environmentally friendly future;
• consolidating the dialogue among the stakeholders, such as local and foreign investors, entrepreneurs, and public institutions on policy reforms and regulatory frameworks that promote sustainable practices;
• highlighting successful case studies and innovative solutions in the green transition.
We welcome business representatives interested in adopting more sustainable practices and aligning to the EU requirements, as well as representatives from civil society, the public sector, support organizations, and academia to join the event!
